NurtureNeuro provides comprehensive Autism and ADHD assessments, therapy, and support services. Our aim is to nurture neurodiversity by using compassion to improve wellbeing and to change the narrative.
We strive to provide high quality and nurturing care and services that will strengthen you or your child. Our mission is to nurture the neuro-diverse with a compassionate and gold-standard service.
Nurture is a value we hold very highly. We want everyone who comes in contact with us to be treated as an individual, and feel valued. We aim to create an environment that feels safe, calming, and accepting.
We believe it is important to look at the strengths as well as the difficulties that come with a diagnosis. We provide in our assessment and report an understanding of the strengths the person brings, and how these unique strengths can be utilised, leading to a fulfilled life. We also provide insight into all the unique strengths and qualities and special skills that come with a diagnosis and support to help others understand these.
We provide a high quality service. We are not impacted by time constraints, such as in a non private service. We provide a Gold standard service as set out by the governing body for Autism and ADHD assessments, The National Institute for Care and Excellence (NICE). We are experienced in both NHS and private settings. Our assessments match NHS standards and therefore are accepted by GP’s and schools. We are experienced in assessing masking and camouflaging Autism and ADHD, along with an understanding of female presentation of Autism and ADHD.
We firmly believe in the diagnosis only being the beginning and we want to support individuals, schools, and families to process the diagnosis, and understand and support it. Additionally, there is access to additional support such as therapy, consultation, or parenting advice where needed.
As a Clinical Psychology led organisation, we are passionate about the thoughts, feelings, and experiences of others. We offer not only an assessment, but also offer a comprehensive package of aftercare, which means any difficulties being faced are supported and worked through.
Creating an environment that feels safe and calming is very important to us. We are aware that coming into busy, chaotic, and noisy environment, would be daunting. Thus, we aim to increase a feeling of acceptance and calmness by adapting to the needs of those who come to see us. A private setting provides a more calm, inviting, and quiet clinic space. We also like to increase autonomy and control, by being flexible, where possible.
